This is a backup card for two recording systems I have that are running Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 and Sonar 2.0. It was in a backup system for 6 months however, this was rarely used.
Cakewalk is a very stable software based recording system that works especially well
in Windows 2000 Pro or NT4. If you have a dual cpu system all the better. I have
been using ProTools since 1992 and find Cakewalk and or Sonar to be an acceptable alternative
IF YOU DO NOT NEED PROTOOLS COMPATIBILITY.
