At only 1U (1.75")high, the xSeries 330 builds on IBM's leadership in rack-dense serving by delivering a powerful, scaleable platform with industry-leading reliability and management components. Forty-Two of these units can be installed in one rack and chained togather to simplify control.
This model is configured with DUAL Pentium III 1GHz processors , 256KB L2 cache, integrated Ultra160 SCSI controller and 512MB REGISTERED ECC SDRAM, expandable to 4096MB. In addition to a 133MHz front bus speed, the x330 features a 24X (max. speed) CD-ROM drive, 3.5" 1.44MB floppy drive, two 9.1GB SCSI drives in hot swap bays.
There are two 64bit PCI slots . Dual 10/100 Ethernet controller and a single channel SCSI controller are integrated onto the main board . The S3 Savage4 64-bit graphics with 8MB SDRAM support resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 in 65 thousand colors. Windows 2000 Server is installed.
This unit was purchased
for a client and never delivered because of there business failure. The
unit is only 4 months old and has not been put into production.
